Hi my baby is 5 months old he is on formula I wanted to know when I can introduce semi solid to baby when to weaning

Solids at 6 months and wean at a year old

They should their nutrition from formula or breast milk until a year. At 6 mos you can introduce solids at one or two meals a day and work your way up. By a year they should be eating 3 meals and 2 snacks a day.

There are certain signs to look for in baby that shows they are ready to try solids. Ex. Good head and neck control, no longer having the reflex of pushing things out of mouth with tongue, being interested in the food you are eating, and some others. Look it up online there are some great articles but it is also always recommended to talk to the doctor before starting solids.
