Are you/have you told your kids about “Santa” !?🎅🏼

My sons a little over 2 years old and I have mixed feelings. Should it be a tradition? He’s obviously seen Santa items around and asked already but I’m just curious how many keep that tradition or do you avoid it- as being fake all together?

When they were little, they believed in Santa. I never told them about Santa, but they watched cartoons.
When they started questioning it, I decided to explain that we all have the chance to "be Santa" and keep the magic alive for others. That he's not one person, but he's that special magical feeling of season we can all be part of.

When I have kids while they’re young they’ll believe there’s “Santa” but as they get older I’m sure friends in school will tell them the truth and once they know I won’t deny it 🤷🏽‍♀️ it’s just the spirit of Christmas so I’ll let them believe as long as they can.

I meant no. I have a 3 year old daughter and I will teach her about Christmas but will not be teaching her about Santa 💁.

I did it with my oldest (7 now) and my 2 year kinda knows. They’ve taken pictures with Santa every year. They get gifts from Santa. I’m keeping the tradition. Same goes for the tooth fairy! My 7 year old has lost 5 teeth and the tooth fairy has came every time! 🤣

We watch Christmas movies and read books, but he doesn't care to know about Santa other then that. So I dont think I'll be doing the Traditional Santa claus stuff.  Tbh I'm actually happy that I dont have to hide Christmas presents or say some type of story how Santa came into.our house.
