Preeclampsia?!

34 weeks today. Usually perfect BP, today was 140, then 138. So now they’re thinking preeclampsia!! However I’m getting over a two week cold, had a stressful morning and was running late to the appt, so I rushed into the doctors office kinda huffing & puffing..needless to say they sent me to the lab. Anyone had a scare? Also anyone confirmed with PE? Trying to not stress🙏🏼

Have them take your blood pressure with feet on ground after breathing slowly for 5 minutes in silence. That’s what my midwife did the one time I had high BP and it was normal after I did that.

I have high blood pressure they put me on meds 3 times a day but I did the 24 hour urine and all the other tests and I don’t have preeclampsia yet but I am getting induced next Wednesday at 37 weeks because of it. Do you have any head aches or swelling?

Me to 35+3 admitted to hospital last night query preclampsia. High bp protien in urine severe headaches and uti as well as chest infection. Started antibiotic to painful and uncomfortable. Cant wait to meet my baba so done being preggers.

Literally exact thing happened to me today too except I was somewhat calm so they’re a little worried. I got a blood test done and a jug for a 24 hour urine collection.
