Favoritism!

Okay so let me start off saying I’m 21 years old pregnant with my 3rd baby I haven’t lived with my parents since I was 16. I moved out of state for better opportunities and life is great! I am feeling really hurt right now and here’s why... my father and my step mom are so uninvolved in my kids lives. It like my father could care less. He never calls to wish them happy birthday,sends birthday cards, and anytime I text him it’s a one word response if I get any response at all. Now that I have money and am doing really well in life my step mom always asks me to buy gifts for my little brother (who I love dearly he’s 9) I do love buying him gifts for birthdays and Christmas but I’m feeling very upset that they never want to buy for my kids. My little brother has always been very spoiled. I have already been told he’s getting a brand new iPad for Christmas. My father since retiring from the navy has had a very hard time with money. My step mom has been incredibly spoiled (nothing wrong with that she’s his wife and I’m well aware my father loves her) when they had money she was always buying for herself and my brother but wouldn’t even pay for my $50 permit when I was 15. I’m so angry and sad I want to love my father but he just seems to not care about me. I’m his only daughter and his first born child. I have thought about just leaving them alone. My feelings are hurt years later over stuff they did like telling me they would go to school events for me and then just not even showing up or bothering to say sorry the couldn’t come. My mom try’s to be involved as much as possible with my kids and I’m very thankful for her, but I am seriously very upset with my father. I’m also very pregnant and very emotional. My boys are 3 and 4 and I’m due in January. Anyone else have a very emotionally absent father? Or experienced favoritism?
