My verbally abuse ex-husband is now my friend

I was in a relationship with a man for almost 7 years. We had been married maybe a year n a half. He became very verbally abusive. After I broke things off with him I found my ONE. My ex husband helped us get an apartment together and even got us $400 off rent every month. He has turned his life around and for my daughter. My man and I found out we are expecting. My ex plans on being an uncle figure and had already bought a play pen for the baby. There is a plan for everything.
