They asked me about my kids

I've been TTC around 2 years 6 months! I'm a cashier at a supermarket so I chat to customers all day! They all ask me about my kids... i'm only 22 so it does come as quite a shock but I just smile and say "I don't have any only fur babies" and they always seem shocked. The conversation today went

Me: I don't go out much anymore

Customer: ah the kids mean not getting out much? Just get your husband to look after them!

I don't have kids or a husband, I wish I did though, always breaks my heart slightly but then I think I must have the look of a mum 😊
