Yeast infection

This is my second time having a yeat infection i got one around the same time last year but i cant remember much from it besides having it .. at first it was very irritating down there and swolen jus a little bit and then i noticed white discharge with no smell. I was prescribed the fluconazole 150mg tablet . I took it friday night the swelling has went down and it doesnt hurt how it was before but i notice more disharge now. Not sure if its cleaning it out or getting worse or if this is suppose to happen . I was told if it isnt better within 3-7 days see my primary care . But im jus wondering if this is normal and suppose to happen ?
