Vaginal Odor?!?!

So I’m more than aware that vaginas have a certain odor to them. But what is that natural odor supposed to smell like? Mine has always given off an odor. Sometimes it’s bad but then I shower and it goes away. During my period, it goes away but then like 3 days after my period is done, it’s back. I don’t regularly shave and I guess I sort of wear tight underwear. I also found that when I shave, it doesn’t smell. Lastly, I know that my vagina is super sensitive. Is there any sort of product I can try out that won’t cause me to have any reactions or that’s perfect for odors?
