Bridesmaids—-maid of honor question

I have two best friends, one I was her MOH in her wedding. However, my bridesmaids and fiancé do not like her very much. She can be very judgy and come off kind of mean. I don’t know if I can handle her being my MOH. When I asked my girls, the night before I even changed my letter to her to change her from MOH to bridesmaid. I sound so cruel, but this is a very special day and want to make it smooth for everyone. So I have not chosen my MOH. However, I do want to ask one of my other best friends, she is actually coming to visit me this weekend. How do I do this, so I do not hurt my other friend?? I really don’t want to hurt her, but I just need to do the right thing.

I know what everyone is going to say, “it’s your wedding do what makes you the happiest.” I appreciate that and feel like that is true, I just don’t ant to hurt anyone.
