Anyone else’s cats or dogs do this??

My cat is always so concerned about my baby, my son is 6 weeks only and ever since we brought him home our kitty always sits next to him or lays by him(never on him or too close to him). If she’s not in the room and he starts crying she runs in and comes by him. Or if he’s sleeping and fussing a little in his sleep she will come lay next to him. I just got home and set his car seat on the bed and she got right up on the bed and laid next to the car seat. It’s like she genuinely cares about him and how he’s doing. It’s so cute.
