Do I really need nursing bras?

I never wear regular bras, only loose sports/sleeping bras that I can very easily lift or pull to the side. I feel like this should be fine for feeding but I have no experience.

I nursed just fine with my Lululemon bras I had prior to pregnancy. I only have Bs so it may differ with different sizes but it was easier and comfortable for me. I had one nursing bra and while it was comfortable for nursing, it was uncomfortable when I wasn’t nursing so I would end up taking it off and going bra less.

If your breasts are small & you’re comfortable, go for it. As long as your breasts aren’t too compressed, because that can decrease your supply. I never had this option as my breasts swelled past a size E- possibly an F- it was miserable. I could only fit massive breastfeeding bras. Forget being able to whip them out discretely- lol. Hopefully you’ll have better luck than me!

I personally just use any sports bra and it seems to be working out fine 🤷🏼‍♀️

I didn’t need them with my son but they have been a lifesaver with my daughter. She is very picky about how she gets the boob and if it’s not just right she screams, in regular or nursing bras it’s impossible to get it how she wants without stress.

I only use seamfree burning bras as I find them comfortable but you can also get nursing sports bras as well

Nursing bras were nice when my milk first came in because my boobs were engorged to at least 3 cup sizes bigger, sports bras would’ve been uncomfortable then. But as my milk leveled out, I found that sports bras worked just fine.
