Breast feeding and working
Hey everyone I’m a FTM of a 1 month old little lady. She was born on November 6 and I’ve been breastfeeding and bottle feeding with breast milk only.. no formula at all and I want to prevent needing to give her any formula also. Well I have 2 job, one is full time and the other is per diem (so I pick up shifts whenever I like). I am scheduled to go back to my full time job on JAN 29 and in the meantime, I am going to pick up shifts at my 2nd job to help ease me back into working.
So my first question is, how did you working mamas deal with going back full time? I am already starting to feel anxiety just thinking about leaving her for 8 hours.
And secondly, what are some things I can do to Boost my milk supply so I can make sure I have enough bottles for her to have while I’m gone? I have been power pumping, which seems to not be having as much of an effect anymore. What lactation cookies/bars/etc actually work?
Thanks in advance!! Picture for attention 🙂
