soap for vagina prone to yeast infections?

hi all, so in the past two months i’ve gotten 2 yeast infentions, how fun... i’m about to go to cvs and pick up a pill for it. but anyways, i normally used vagisal ph balance (but i guess it’s super bad it might’ve caused my yeast infection but it also could’ve been caused by the lube i used. i’ll start using coconut oil as lube though as my doctor told me to) but for soap... they told me to use dove sensitive skin, anyone have any experience with this? i don’t want my vagina smelling funny

I don't use soap. It all causes me bad deals irritations and yeast infections.  So now I just use warm water and that is all . You don't need soap down there at all

I am prone to yeast infections especially when I am pregnant but that aside I still get them regularly and it’s annoying. But once I figured out to use the most plain soap possible they have decreased dramatically. I don’t force soap up in and just around lightly getting it foamy and I don’t leave soap on for long. I sometimes wash twice but only cleaning quick then washing out immediately. I use this and have for years and it works great. Wayyyyy better then the soaps intended for vaginal cleaning or sensitive soaps bc they still have scents and chemicals.

Just wipe down there with a wet washcloth. You don’t, and SHOULD NOT, wash inside the vaginal canal. Your vagina is always going to have a smell, as long as it doesn’t smell fishy or rotten, you are fine

You don’t really need soap down there, although you might let soapy water run over it. My OB recommended Basis. You can get it for sure on Amazon if you can’t find it any where els
