Late period & Paragaurd

So I got my Paragard inserted one week ago, and things went really smoothly! My only issue is that I was supposed to get my period 4 days ago, and it still hasn’t come. I got a pregnancy test at my insertion appointment, and it was negative, and I haven’t had sex since before getting my IUD inserted. So I guess my question is, is it normal for the Paragaurd to delay my period even though it’s non hormonal? I’m all paranoid after reading things about getting pregnant with an IUD in..
