17 dpo, 3 days late and CM is creamy

Hi everyone, I'm super nervous but trying to not to be excited just yet. My husband and I have been TTC for almost a year. This is the first time I have ever been late for AF, that I can remember. Not to give TMI, but yesterday my CM was thick and creamy. I've been having mild cramps but I usually feel those pre AF. I'm confused and scared to test. Anyone else experience this and had BFP?
