What do your toddlers drink milk out of?

My toddler is 13 months and still will only drink milk out of the bottle looking for help and advice. He doesn't eat a lot so still giving him toddler formula 2-3 times a day. I've tried a normal free flow sippy cup and the 360 cup.

My kid went from a bottle to drinking out of a sippy cup with a straw. She didn’t like having to tip the cup.

Straw cups (contigo is our favorite for the toddler stage) or 360 cups.

When parents ask me about switching from bottles to cups, I usually suggest taking away the bottles and only offering cups. Try a variety of styles (I've seen most prefer the straws, but all kids are different) and maybe try a different style cup for milk than what you do for water. I've seen children refuse cups bc what's inside was not what they wanted/expected it to be. The transition maybe a good time to offer more/different foods since less milk will make him more hungry. I just collected all the bottles while he was asleep one day. Out of sight out of mind. Get a sippy with a soft nipple like top and put his milk in that.  That’s just what worked for me my son was unhappy at first but adjusted. My second child it didn’t even matter to him when I replaced his bottle with a sippy cup. Every babe is different.

In the beginning I couldn’t get my son to drink out of any sippy cups except the munchkin weighted straw cup and he drank water and all great from it but I also tried to get him to drink milk from it and struggled I tried allowing it only at bed time and nap time until I realized that was defeating everything so I just threw them out the only choice he had was to drink his milk from the cup or no milk obviously they will give in after time which he did and now he drinks out of any sippy cup but I’d stick with whatever cup your using for water no need to confuse him also soft spout cups are good for transition I’d also put his formula in the cup too Good luck hope this is helpful

my son started drinking out of straws around 10 months or so. So we went from boobie to straw. He still gets boobie though and then he will have water or a smoothie or milk.. ect

We took away the bottle for good at 15 months. After that, he’d drink water from a sippy cup. He’s 2 now and drinks from a regular cup.

By 13 months, we had been bottle free for 4 months and our daughter was drinking whole milk from any sippy cup we handed her. Some had spouts, others had straws, and then we had a few of the 360 cups as well. that's a skill that should have been started at 6 months.
