Dry scalp?

I have a really dry scalp, I don’t wash my hair every day, a couple times a week rather. The last time i straightened my hair, I noticed dry flakes at my hair line and flakes at the end of my part. I use tresemme shampoo and conditioner for curls .. Anything i can use to hydrate my scalp? Preferably home remedies, as i don’t have a job or have access to my car as often

I use coconut oil in my hair and keep it in as long as you can stand it. Then wash your hair as usual. You could do it 1-2 a week for a couple weeks. That should help. Your hair may seem a little more greasy than usual but it might be worth it to have a happy scalp.

I do a coconut oil treatment on my hair once a month. It really hydrates my scalp! I used to have to use head and shoulders but now I have little to no dandruff or dryness.

Peppermint oil and tea tree oil in your conditioner will help with that

You could try some tea tree shampoo or another dandruff shampoo, also you could try leave in conditioner they’ll help keep your hair hydrated
