What is your 7 month old eating?

I feel like I’m really slacking in the solids department. What are some thing your feeding your LO and how many times a day? My baby has such a hard time eating his formula so I’ve been holding back on solids unless he’s eating nicely that day. Maybe I should increase it now. Ideas?

I only feed mine solids every now and then. Hes breastfed,but i dont think that makes a huge difference as far as solids go. Definitly went with purees though because im terified of him choking. I feed him a puree if he seems particularly hungry that day. And i usually give it to him about 30 mins to an hour before bedtime. He loves banana, butternut squash, sweet potato, carrots. Pretty much anything orange. I gave him a slice of one of those halo oranges, he loved it but it gave him a rash and (tmi) came out pretty much intact, so im not sure he was ready for that one.

NUK do a net thing, it's great for getting fruit into your LO. My son snacks on bananas and raspberries using it. He also has Greek yogurt (organic, plain, no additives) and goats cheese (organic, plain, no additives). He usually has breakfast at about 10 (yogurt and berries or weetabix with breast milk) then a snack part way through the day (cheese and berries or a banana) finishing with dinner at 6:30ish (when he has some pureed veg or a ready made jar/pouch if I'm busy that day).

He always has his bottle first since that’s his primary nutrition. We give him puréed fruits and veggies for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He has puffs or yogurt bites with his afternoon bottle. We just started the puffs and bites and he’s still figuring out how to put them in his mouth and chew, so we haven’t done any other chewing type foods yet. We just started getting combo purées but he’s only tried one so far.

My 7 Month Old doesn’t like food only formula. I have tried tons of purées, yogurt, fresh bananas, avocados, puffs. Most of the time she shuts her mouth and won’t try it. She also hates cereal of any kind, if I put anything in her bottle with formula she won’t drink it. On a good day I get 3-5 spoonfuls of food in that she spits out. The doctor isn’t worried they said to just keep trying. So once a day we attempt to eat food.

My baby is on a purée strike and is refusing to be spoon fed (she will take purées from a pouch though). So I’ve been giving her a lot of table food lately. She doesn’t have any teeth yet but she still eats the following:
Food pouches - fruit & veggie blends 
Toast (crusts removed, and sliced in strips about the size of my pinky finger)
Banana
Cheerios/puffs
Blueberries (halved)
Raspberries (halved)
Cooked veggies (peas, carrots, squash, broccoli, potatoes, etc) 
Pasta
Rice 
Meat if it’s tender enough 
Yogurt (I add water and make it into a “smoothie” so she drinks it’s with a straw cup)

My daughter isn’t 7 months yet.  One meal a day - We usually offer purées+oatmeal and also offer her what we are eating at supper.
She kind of likes food...but she is not interested in putting the food in her mouth at all, so I do have to feed it to her.

I live in Germany. I follow the recommendations of my doctor. We started with purreed veggies and meat for lunch. After four weeks you are supposed to feed dairy-cereal for dinner (i use formula not cows milk and a mix of cereal (oats, millet, rice). After four weeks you add a afternoon snack, that contains cereal made with water and fruit. Breakfast comes last.  
My daughter is ok with lunch but loves dinner. Other than that i brestfeed.

Mine was EBF and at 6 months I started introducing foods, it’s been real slow and just in the last two weeks she actually seems to be enjoying food rather then gagging at it 😂 I try to feed her at least once in the evening and I just started some in the afternoons as well. She eats
Fresh fruit by herself
- banana
- apple
- pear
Baby food fed by spoon
- sweet potato
- carrots
I try to introduce new food every 5 days or so but I’m in no rush🤷🏻‍♀️

I do homemade purées twice a day. Fruits and lunches and meat/veggies for dinner. He gets 2/3 tablespoons is all. Sometimes I’ll mix in baby oatmeal for texture. But that’s it for now. We tried baby led weaning but he gagged and gagged and seemed miserable so we switched over to purées for a while. Then he breastfeeds the rest of the time
