Daycare Teacher Christmas gifts. How much are you spending?

We have 4 teachers and got them each a $20 Starbucks gift card. One of the other moms got them cute mugs with their initials on them.
I like the previous comment about Target gift cards... Wish I would have thought of that. I think most like Starbucks but everyone likes target!!

We did $100 each for the two teachers. Seemed like a lot but it’s what the parents traditionally do.

I send my 2 yo to Mother’s Day out twice a week and got them each a $10 Starbucks gift card. I did the same for my kids’ bible study fellowship teachers

There are 6 teachers in my sons room at daycare. We got $10 gift cards( Dunkin’ Donuts) and cookies for all of them except the head teacher. We got her a $20 gift card (Target) and cookies. I’ll probably spend a bit more in future years when there are less teachers to buy for.

A bottle of wine and a lottery scratch off ($5). I bought for the 2 baby teachers and the owner (I worked there for 4 years before I took a teaching job in a middle school). We also bought books for her “friends”, she is only one 1 of 4 babies.

We always do homemade gifts. Melted crayon ornaments are my kids favorite to make and with a baby they can even participate in picking out the colors
