Embarrassing but need to know 😓🥴

Hi guys so this is my first time starting a convo and unfortunately it’s embarrassing to even ask. So I’ve been in a relationship with my SO for a couple months now and today we had a embarrassing talk today. This is the first time we have had a convo like this and yes it makes me happy he’s comfortable talking to me about it but for me not so much. He started out by asking me if I felt sick the other day because there was unusual color discharge in my used underwear. It was embarrassing for me because I’m a clean person (shower everyday, special wash for down there etc.) now I know it’s normal for a female to have discharge of different colors, it wasn’t green or nothing more of a cream/tan color. I don’t know how to handle the situation because the last few days my SO hasn’t want to have sex. Now I’m normally ok with it because I would sometimes not want to have sex and take care of myself. Since he asked me that though I’ve been thinking it had something to do with the underwear situation. Both myself and my SO are over thinkers and i don’t want to cause a problem out of this because i feel embarrassed.
