Boyfriends plays ENTIRELY too rough 😪

To make a long story short, my boyfriend plays too rough and I don’t know if I need to look at this as signs of him being abusive. Yesterday we were about to go out and he hugged me and started playfully kissing my neck and told me I looked good. Then it got to a point where he started sucking on my neck super hard to the point I had to forcefully push his head away. I kept saying STOP STOP because it hurted so bad. I think he thought I was playing because I did the laugh/cry thing. You know when something hurts to bad you do a crying laugh type of thing? Well maybe it’s just me. Then when he finally stopped there was a ginormous hickey on my neck. Super huge. And it pissed me off. That same night in the car he was biting my shoulder and I kept saying stop again and did the laugh cry thing. He was biting so hard to the point I still feel the pain in my shoulder today. It pissed me off and I ended up crying and staying in the car. Another time he squeezed my wrist super hard I couldn’t stand the pain. I’m not exaggerating at all. This stuff literally hurts me physically.Ladies please how should I go about this?? He’s a playful person and I’ve tried telling him that his playfulness is way too rough for me. My next step is to leave honestly. But idk if I’m being dramatic?!
