What is Postpartum Depression? And what is your experience with it? How long did it last for you?

Please excuse my ignorance on this topic, I’m curious on what you ladies experience and how you manage to get through it.

I had postpartum
  depression with psychosis after having my twins it was the scariest thing I've ever gone through and my entire life I would hear voices in my head that would tell me to kill my babies! But for me I was super obsessed with my babies I could not leave them alone for a minute. I would have burst of anger that would send me into hysterics and then I would cry for like an hour but I mostly had anger issues. I would get angry at the smallest stupidest things! I waited 13 years to get pregnant again!

I had it with my first.
I had no bond,  i was overwhelmed,  crying no sleep and at one point having bad thoughts,  i went to the doctor and got on an antidepressant.  Have been on one since.  
Now i just glide through being a mom. I sleep, I'm not stressed and i don't have bad thoughts. I hope this helps. ♥️

I’m experiencing it now. I am seeing the dr in a week. But honestly it sucks. I’m constantly crying like someone died. That’s how sad I feel. I had a friend who was young and had no attachment. She wanted to kill herself and her baby. It was bad.
