i said i love him

so i have been talking to this boy for five months now and we aren’t dating yet, but we’re “taking it slow” and taking the time to develop into a healthy relationship. i think it’s about time to be official because i mean it’s almost been half a year and plus everyone knows we’re a thing.

we’re exclusive when it comes to other people, like some people would try to hit on me and i would tell them i have a man, but i technically don’t. overall, the situation is really complex.

im pretty close with his best friend too. we all work together so it’s practically an advantage. his best friend and i talk alot about him with each other. i guess you can say he’s pretty involved in our so-called relationship. i go to him for advice and everything as well.

today, we were talking about “my man” again and how weird he is and then the words slipped out. i was like “yea, but oh well, i love him still.” his best friend’s facial expression instantly shifted and he was like “wait, what did you just say?” and me realizing, i just walked away, completely ignoring him.

but i mean, is it too soon to say i love you, taking in the amount of time we have been together. like even though we’re not dating dating, would i really want to take back those words?

like he is the type of boy who has made me smile since day one. despite how weird and questionable his actions may be, he makes me feel a type of way that

words can’t capture. he’s the boy i have been praying for. and in my defence, im the one who is ready to be in a relationship with him and i tell him that. there are moments he doesnt understand why i could ever life ke someone like him but i mean i never felt so happy to be with someone until now.

so that concludes my ted talk guys. i apologize if this sounded cheesy, but yea.
