Traveling abroad with 3 year old? Have you travelled with small children?

My husband and I have a 3 year old, and are planning a trip to Paris next year. She’ll still be 3 then, and we want to bring us as we want her to feel included in our adventures, we went on a trip about a month ago for a week and she was watched by her grandparents and it didn’t go well, she missed us terribly. Have you ever traveled abroad with a young child? How did it go? She’s never been on a plane before, it’ll be about a 9 hour flight from where we live, and I’m also wondering how to get her adjusted to the jet lag. Any tips appreciated :)

My husband and I took our daughter on a trip to London when she was only six months old. 👌🏾 I'm sure it will be different than traveling with a three year old. However, the trip was AWESOME. That was not her first time being on a plane, however it was her first time being on a plane for 13 hours. The trip was great. We stayed for ten days so we packed a lot of things obviously. I recommend researching your Destin before you go to know of any rules or policies, places to visit, etc. For the plane ride, it should be pretty easy. I HIGHLY recommend purchasing a seat for your little one. We ALWAYS purchase a seat for our daughter because it is much safer. Pack snacks, toys, extra clothing, etc in your carry-on. Since it's an international flight, you should receive meals on the flight. Also, remember that you are visiting this country with a baby or toddler so it will be a little different than if it was adults only and be mindful of the time change.
