Hip surgery 😭

On December 10th I had hip surgery. I’ve had hip pain for several years, it’s always been so uncomfortable to walk. I always cried when I’m at work because the pain was unbearable. I made a doctors appointment and I had X-rays and a MRI done, I had two lumps on my joint and it stopped my hip from rotating the correct way that it should be rotating. Working out, walking around, and even sex killed me! My doctor decided to give me a cortisone shot in my hip, he didn’t want to jump to surgery right away. He told me to give the shot two weeks to see if it helps me at all. The shot made things even worse, I had to call off work because I couldn’t move at all. I went back to the doctor and told him that the shot didn’t help at all and he told me that I’d have to schedule a day for surgery because my case is very severe. He told me he was going to do a hip arthroscopy but he had to make a big incision because he had to go in and shave my joint to re-sculpture it and it had to cut through a tendon to re-sculpture everything and he had to fix the tendon. Let me just tell you, it’s been hell recovering. I’m not aloud to walk for 6 weeks and for full recovery it’s going to take about 6 months. I can’t get in and out of bed on my own, take a shower by myself, and go to the bathroom by myself. It honestly sucks! I know it’ll get better with time but I just can’t take the pain anymore, it hurts so much, I cry everyday because of it! Has anyone gone through this? If so is there any recommendations on stretching my hip gently? Anything is appreciated! 😊 Below I posted a pic of my hip
