Taking baby to midnight mass?

My husband wants to take our 7 month old to midnight mass. I wasnt raised going to church so idk if its appropriate to bring our baby.

Yes, it’s appropriate. I’ve gone to late night service (ours is at 11pm) nearly my entire life. I’ve only gone to early service (4pm) a few times due to other people needing to go to the earlier service. Odds are the baby will sleep. It’s even appropriate to put pajamas on for the service so you don’t have to do that after. We went in our pajamas as kids until we were in school.

It's fine to bring them to church, but I personally wouldn't be taking my baby out at midnight. We set a bedtime of 6:30pm when our daughter was 4 months and we stand by it.

I always went ever since I was born. Even when I was severely sick one Christmas as a kid I remember my mom made me go 🤣

We took our son last year at 7 months old (though it was an 8 pm service). He did fine. I’m actually more nervous to take him this year at 19 months old because he’s so active and I know he won’t want to sit for an hour. Not to mention he goes to bed at 7 pm so he’ll probably be miserable haha.

Yes. Everyone brings their babies. At least they do at my church. Most children just sleep during mass...my daughter was 3mo when I brought her last year and she was perfectly content

We did but ours was a nightlife baby. He loved being up late in general and he wasnt particularly a crier. He enjoyed the music and lights.
