Are you a strict parent?

Strict as in- home by 9, no phone until 13+, can’t watch R rated movies, can’t go to a friends house if you don’t know them ect. 
Would someone think you are a strict parent compared to them?

I don’t know if I’m strict as much as I’m a concerned, involved parent, as is my husband. Being home by a certain time is age dependent - I have a middle schooler & high schooler so the times vary but I do expect them to be home by their given times. They get a phone mid year in 5th grade. They’re definitely not going to anyone’s house that I haven’t met the parent/s. No driving other teens/friends around for the first six months you have your license. Again, I don’t think we’re strict though.

I think yes and no 
No gun toys or games etc 
Phone is ok in first grade but literally only to call me in an emergency it’s not for fun and Games and I need it back at the end of the school day 
Curfews yes 
Bedtimes yes (even in high school) 
Most other things are maturity dependent 🤷🏽‍♀️ every kid is different

I don't find any of that to be strict. It's called parenting. Why I let my child go off with people I don't know? Or let my teens go out all night doing God knows what and coming home at 5am? And why would I get my young child a phone? Who do they have to call? And no, I wouldn't let my young children watch rated R movies. There's an age restriction on those movies for a reason. That's all just common sense parenting. It's not strict in any way.

No phones or tablets until they’re older. Idgaf what they watch as long as it’s not True Blood, Reign, Tudors, etc or GoT. (Too much sex). They watch Z-Nation & Walking Dead quite a bit.

Home by 9 on school night. 11 on weekends. Phone by 5th grade. I dont care about rates R movies 12 and up they can watch
