Its hard, anyone in a similar boat?

This time of year is horrible because I really miss him, we weren't together that long but seeing everyone happy and in love while I feel sad and lonely just really hurts. I'm glad other people are happy but I just miss him so much. I wanted to get him this really nice gift that I know he would've loved, I wish I could've given it to him and see his reaction cause his ex's never made him feel like he meant something to someone. But he meant a lot to me and now I'm stuck surrounded by wrapping paper crying like an idiot, meant to be happy as it's a "wonderful time of the year" and all that. I just really miss him so much, does anyone else who's been through a break up recently feel like this?😓
