I can’t stop hurting

Should I feel completely destroyed because I found out my fiancé was talking to other women in a relationship way on Facebook while talking to me before we actually met? I’m just really hurt because we are so great together and he swore to me he never attempted a relationship on any type of social media. I thought I was special and I never expected him to lie to me. Granted, we had not met but been talking for weeks and promises were made that I’d taken to heart. This was 9 months ago but I feel so hurt.

I’ve been through so many abusive relationships not to mention upbringing. He is wonderful to me but I feel like absolute crap now.
