When’s a good time to tell your close friends?

I’m just over 5 weeks pregnant (found out two days before Christmas, yay) 
We have told our parents but we won’t announce until we’ve had our 12 week scan. I don’t think I can wait that long to tell our close friends. When did others tell their friends? ☺️🙂😊

My closest friend knew before my fiancé, then I asked my next few closest friends how I should tell him , told him, then my mom, then HIS parents, then my dad in Father's Day, then my job, then announced to the world on 4th of July (a day before I was 9 weeks)

We couldn't wait until 12 weeks. We wanted to shout it from thr mountains as soon as we found out. We told all our close family and then posted on social media. I know ppl wait because of the miscarriage worry, but I knew I wanted ppl to know either way. And if I miscarried I'd want emotional support through it. Don't regret my decision.

We told our parents and sisters at 5 weeks. I told my best friend at 6 weeks, told the rest of my friends at 9 weeks, then announced to everyone at 12 weeks.
The 6 weeks and 9 weeks were because those were days I was seeing them. I don’t see my group of friends all together very often and it was either tell them at 9 weeks or they see with the rest of the world which I wasn’t happy about

My best friend knew before anyone else I showed her the pregnancy test everyday to see if she could see the lines. she was my emotional support throughout when we were trying to conceive. 
I then told my mum a week later. I’m 13 weeks and we’ve only just told my partners gran. Other than those people knowing we won’t be telling anyone else
