Being happy

I have been seeing/dealing with a guy now for over 2 yrs now. I know he wants me and of he knows I want to be with him. We have a lot in common, we can relate to each other and we are the same age, well I’m 9 days older than him, but any who there is one thing that is stopping us from actually spending that quality time together. I

live at home with my mother and I have a 10 yr old daughter who is toooooooo attached to me, that she doesn’t like when I go out she always says I’m going to miss you. The problem is my mother mostly. Question is what can I do to get my mother understand I have a life and that I want to be happy and spend some time with this man on some weekends. It’s really unattractive that I can’t have this life at the age that I am and I’m a single mother. I need some advice.
