Help plz! How to get respect??

How do I get my man to respect me? And Keep respect and have that boundary where I don’t let him or tolerate disrespect??

Never had a problem till recently now especially today I told him I expect you to respect me and he didn’t say anything..

he has always said he loved me but lately I noticed he thinks he’s all that like better then me or others almost as he has education and I don’t have college. But I said that and he said he thinks he’s low and wants to go higher stays humble lol.. but told me I need to educate myself today about something I already knew but didn’t see it his way.

Sorry for my vent ramble.
