Oils for hair growth?! UPDATE in comments :)

Question

I’m looking into Jamaican Black Castor Oil to grow out my hair and was wondering if anyone has any brand suggestions? Does it work differently on different textured hair types? 
I also wanted to know if you have a suggestion of what to mix with it (any other oils, etc). One YouTuber I follow (Alissa Ashley) has a good mix, but it involves something like 13 different oils and I’m not trying to break the bank 🤗 
I will also be implementing some sort of vitamin once my baby is born, but I want to take advantage of this pregnancy and grow as much hair as I can while my body is promoting growth!!!

I dont know about Jamican oil but coconut nut oil and argan oil I've been using helped my hair grow passed my shoulders where before never could

Alrighty, here we go! 
I got these three oils to start: 
Haitian Black Castor Oil
Blueberry and Mint Tea with a Coconut Oil base 
Argan Oil as a “carrier” oil
I’m also going to try using the “inversion method” of flipping my head over and massaging for about 3-5 minutes to stimulate blood flow to the follicles! It seems like I should only do this once or twice a week so the hair doesn’t get used to it?? We’ll see if it helps 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyway!!! Wish me luck as I start! I’ll be sitting here with oil on my scalp for a few hours playing Smash and Mario Kart 🤣 happy Sunday!

Argan Oil has worked for me. And massaging my scalp every time I shampoo my hair I feel has really helped my hair growth. Good luck !!!

I have a few that I use, to maintain my hair: you can get it at target or Walmart. : I alternate between the vitamin E oil and Argan oil and if I run out of either I use the coconut milk serum.

Also you can check out some of the products from Shea Moisture. They have the Jamaican black castor oil that you can get at target.  I always read the reviews before purchasing. Good luck to you. 👸🏽

I used castor oil as a treatment each week before being pregnant it also helps with thickening and it def helps speed the growth. I either used it alone on scalp and ends  (but it’s a bit gloopy to wash out) and sometimes mixed with olive oil as it’s easier to remove. I stopped using since I was told that it’s bad to use during pregnancy so didn’t want to take any risks ... anyone else know if it’s ok to still use ? 🌸
