Yellow on baby’s teeth?

My 13 months old have this hard yellow “stain” looking thing on his upper teeth. I brush his teeth twice daily so I’m not sure what this is or what caused it. Neither do I know how to get rid of it. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Please advise

Hygienist here! It could be a few things. When you were pregnant if you took antibiotics or had a high fever you can get abnormalities in your baby's teeth. Could be fluorosis...while pregnant you used products with high amounts of fluoride or he did after birth when his teeth were still forming. Fluoride is found naturally in the earth and is in higher contents in certain areas or maybe from your drinking water. It doesn't look like caries (cavities) to me, so I don't think it anything you're doing anything wrong with his home care. It's not a bad thing! You'll notice it because you're mom, but most people won't! I wouldn't stress it at all. His adult teeth may not have it all.

I had that on my tooth growing up got a filling when I was 13 but my dentist told me it was a piece of tooth that just broke off and my teeth grew over it maybe take LO to the dentist and ask

Are you making sure to use a fluoride free toothpaste?
