My son never noticed he was too into eating. In the beginning he would nurse for 30-45 minutes at time. I got tired of staring at the wall

Yup sure did/will . Don’t get me wrong I love feeding  my kids and interacting but this time also constitutes for my 5 mind of me time before I have to go back to tending the baby the house Ann the other kids 😂 I’m pretty confident when my kids are teens they’re not gonna say hey mom remember when I was 4 weeks old and you were on your phone while feeding me . I mean they haven’t yet and their 8 and 11

It’s how I stay awake! Like others have said, I also have to avoid eye contact anyway or my distracted nurser will pull off and grin at me. Cute but counterproductive

I had to do something lol. If I looked at my daughter too hard, she would stop nursing.🤷🏾‍♀️ When she got around two months old, I could interact with her a little more. I even started reading to her in the mornings.
