What to do with second child??! Advice

Hey guys! Me and DH have a 3 year old son and are currently pregnant with our second. We don’t have any family close to us where we live. When I go into labor I don’t know what to do with my son, will they allow him in the hospital with us? Anyone with a similar circumstance that can give me advice. I’m a ways away from my due date but am already stressing over this. Thanks!

You can have who you want in the room, usually. My daughter will be 4 when our second is born and we won’t have anyone near us (moving July due to doctorate school for my husband). Baby is due in August. Great timing I know 😅 I also want her to be apart of the birth of her only sibling. They said it is fine, it’s my call.

Either you can have a nurse stay with your child during child birth or your husband will have to watch your son while giving birth .

My mom came to stay with us for a couple of weeks. She kept my son and brought him to see us after the birth. 
My hospital does not allow children until the baby and mother are in their own room.  
If she hadn’t been able to I would have asked a friend of mine that is a stay at home mom, I am super picky about who watches my kids...
