Can hangovers affect your sense of smell???

Happy New Years! I drank a bottle of champagne last night and woke up feeling fine, if not a little tired. But as I was making breakfast, the smell of scrambled eggs d i s g u s t e d me! Like, so bad that I turned away from the pan and cooked them without looking! I’ve never had that happen before!

So I’m wondering: can being hung over change the way you respond to certain smells??? 🤔 anyone else had that happen before??
