Hey ladies how long did you wait to have sex again? I'm 2w pp but my incision doesn't hurt or anything and I'm walking just fine and I've been just fine and I'm not bleeding heavy at all. And surprisingly I am feeling extremely horny and I want to have sex but most people are telling me wait the 6w. I just want some advice from you ladies

Wait the six weeks. It’s not about comfort, it’s about possible infection until your cervix closes entirly

My OB was very clear: “Nothing in the vagina for 6 weeks”. It’s about infection.

Remember while you might look fine and feel fine there is a big open wound in your uterus and having sex before it’s healed (6 weeks) can cause infection as you are delivering foreign bacteria right to the wound.

We only waited 2 weeks😬 I felt the same way, I felt fine, I was healing great and felt more than ready!
But at the same time I wasn’t entirely aware of all the possible risks! Getting pregnant, you’re highly fertile! Infection, as mentioned (and I didn’t think about) the placenta left a giant gaping wound in your uterus. 
I ended up fine and it was great, but I’ll probably be a bit more wary next time and wait a bit longer!

So I'll be honest, I couldn't wait for 6 weeks. We did at like maybe 3 weeks and it was fine, we just took it super easy.
