Can I put penaten cream on neck rolls?

My daughter has the craziest rolls 😂 and my breast milk keeps getting trapped in the rolls. they’re getting red and smelly (like rotten milk and sweat). I used a baby wipe to wipe it and she screamed so I believe it burns and hurts her. What can I put in there? Would penaten cream be ok? Baby powder? If so, How much?

It might be best to take her to the doctor to rule out a yeast infection or they can prescribe a steroid cream. Keep the area dry

Don’t use baby wipes on any part of her but her bottom. They have a bunch of chemicals in them and it burns and hurts over open skin. Don’t use them over a bad diaper rash either. In that case I would use warm water and baby soap with a washcloth. But sounds like she might have a yeast infection there so she should go to the pediatrician to be checked.

Every time you feed her, maybe just give it a wipe with a soft, warm wash cloth and leave  the area exposed to the air for a few minutes to dry out. Yes, you can put penatin on areas other than their bum! I used to use it on my daughter's chin when she'd get drool rash and it helps with that too. Definitely air it out though! That'll help more than any cream will.
