Need some advice

I need to vent. I have always wanted to be a mommy; that’s my purpose in life. I am a first time mom to a beautiful 1 month old baby boy who I love more than anything. But I feel like I’m failing as a mom. My baby cries ALL the time. He is happy when he’s sleeping and eating and that’s it. When he’s awake, he screams and cries. He is a very gassy baby, wakes himself up by grunting and crying. I exclusively breastfeed. He has a lip and tongue tie which is going to get revised Monday the 7th but I’m having second thoughts because the recovery is going to be painful for him which is going to make him even more fussy which I didn’t think was possible. He sleeps more in the day than in the night. I just don’t know what to do anymore. All I want is to take his pain away and for him to be happy.
