Would you be induced for your own comfort at 39 weeks?

Please only answer '' i would, i was, or no i wouldn't" if you have been through pregnancy or been in this position. A lot of people would say no until they have been through it personally.
There is no increased risk of c-sections.. actually there were studies that showed a decrease in needed emergency c-sections with births induced at 39 wks

I chose that I WOULD. Only because I WAS going to up until I went into labor the day before my induction was scheduled. 😀

No way. I was induced at 42 weeks and it was hell. Took days and I hated not being able to labour naturally. I’m terrified of needing to get induced again this time around, I would never pick it unless absolutely necessary (like being two weeks overdue or baby in distress)

I chose I wouldn’t. I’m 39 weeks, 40 next Wednesday and I used to hope they’d induce me so I could meet baby early, but that was a selfish reason!
 In the UK, they let you go 12 days past your due date before they consider an induction, if you’re induced before it’s because of a health issue with you or baby, so I’m grateful there isn’t. 
Plus it makes me feel on edge knowing inductions force your body to give birth when your body and baby aren’t ready!

I was induced on my due date. I probably wouldn’t induce earlier than that unless there was a complication. With that said, my induction was awesome, and labor was easy compared to being pregnant for me.

I'm really small and terrified of having a c section and I told my doctor that if the baby is measuring big I'd rather be induced and be able to have a vaginal birth than wait and end up with an emergency c section. She said we'd monitor him and talk about it later which I think was her way of saying "you'll be fine, don't lose sleep over it". 😂

I have been induced 3 times and it was amazing very quick four hours with each and will be induced this time I have low ppa and my placenta  doesn’t function properly that’s why all my babies been small

I was induced for high bp as well as a drop in baby’s growth percentiles, I personally had a really bad experience and wouldn’t do it again if I didn’t have to. Others however have had good experiences I’m sure, I just much preferred my other labours as I could move about and not be constantly monitored and spend time at home in the early hours. I had to stay on the bed being monitored and couldn’t use any water, there was a portable monitor but theirs just happened to be broken at the time 🙄😭 It was so much more painful and I felt very out of control... There’s only a short time left, I do remember how uncomfortable I was in the late stages and how I wished baby would just come out, however I missed pregnancy so much afterwards each time.
