Shall I find out the gender or not?

Want some thoughts of what people decided to do about finding out the gender of baby. This is my first baby 👶🏽 shall I keep it for a surprise or find out so I can start to get bits ready.

We kept our first a surprise! It was really fun and nice to get things that could be used by either sex as we planned to have two children. It was also exciting when we finally got to tell people “it’s a boy and this is what his name is!” 
This time around I’m struggling a bit with seasonal depression and not being excited for the baby and so we’ve decided to find out in the hopes that it will help me feel better. I’ll also be able to go through all of the clothing we have stored from my first and decide what to keep and what to donate. 
There’s no wrong choice, but I’d definitely recommend waiting if you’re on the fence and it’s your first.

I honestly was thinking this to myself but then thought for my first I am going to find out the gender which is in a week 😍 but with my next I want it to be a surprise i think 🤩

We didn’t find out with our third. I didn’t enjoy my pregnancy or bond with the baby while I was pregnant. We found out this time, and I’m glad we did.

It's really up to you. I wanted to wait to find out, but my husband really wanted to know so, we went ahead (he wouldn't have been able to keep it a secret if he knew and I didn't lol). If you have an appointment coming up and are still unsure, you can tell the ultra sound tech to write the gender and put it in an envelope. That way, if you change your mind, you can find out or continue waiting for the surprise. Good luck

I’m pregnant with my third and we’ve always waited to find out and will again with this one. Most people think we are crazy but I love the surprise at the birth. :)

We have 3 boys and we found out the genders on all. This last baby was going to be a surprise....however I was sooooo sick. Still constantly throwing up daily as I hit second trimester. It didn’t ease up like my last 3 had. I spent from weeks 6 to 14 in bed all day and not able to cook clean or help my husband with the other kids. It was just HORRIBLE and I was miserable. So I asked him if we could please find out the gender because I was really not enjoying this pregnancy at all and even if it was a 4th boy it would give me something to focus on and be excited about and start preparing. He agreed. So we went and did a private ultrasound at this awesome place with a 70in TV to view the US on and found out we are finally having a girl. It was a really wonderful experience that I dont regret at all. 
However I imagine waiting till the end is a wonderful surprise. I just don’t have that kind of patience. And now that I have spent 9years with blue and green and dinosaur everything—I’m planning a beautiful pink nursery area and Its made me excited again about being pregnant. Plus I’m so picky about baby clothes and hate most neutral clothes!!!
