Homemade Baby Food makers???

Question

Hello all! I’m trying to do some research on the best way to make my own baby food for my daughter in a couple of months when she’s ready. I’d like to have a little practice first so I’m trying to figure out what I need now. Has any one used the Instant Pot blender? I need a new blender anyways and I’m not sure some of the blenders marketed towards making baby food are worth it? If you think they are then please tell me why!

I got a steamer basket that fits on top of a pot (it’s all all clad).  I steam fruits and veggies and I boil meat. Then I just blend them individually in my vitamix. And I free in ice cube trays and store them in bags in the freezer. When it’s time for a meal, I pick out two veggie cubes and a meat. Or two fruits for a snack. So for instance, I’ll have a bag with different cubes of apple, peach, plum, etc. Each batch lasts about a couple weeks before I have to make more.

Never used that BUT I do use an actual instant pot to steam everything and then I use an immersion blender to pure everything which takes about 10 minutesto get a few batches done. You could also use a rice maker or even a pot with a streamer trivet to steam everything. You can use a hand mixer, an immersion blender, a stand blender or just mash/whisk everything up by hand.

I brought a normal cheap hand blender and used my veg steamer to cook baby food.. then brought couple of Ice cube trays to store and freeze the baby food, as portion wise ice cube tray are perfect size for weening..
