Metformin

I was prescribed Metformin I’ve been taking it for 2 weeks now. The first week was only 500mg before bed and then the second week was 500mg in the morning and 500mg before bed, but I can not handle taking the one in the morning. After I take it i feel so sick for the rest of the day and can’t eat anything and even drinking anything makes me feel so horrible. TMI but I was even 💩 4-5 times a day which was making it all worse. Can I just take the 1000mg before bed? Or is that a no go?
