Repeat pap??

Okay so I just had my first Pap smear last month on the 11th and DH and I just found out I’m pregnant. I go for my first prenatal appointment in a couple weeks and I’m just curious if they will still do another one. I’ve been reading that a pap is part of your first prenatal workup, but would they still do one if I just had one only a month ago?

No they won’t do it if you’re not due for one. Since you just had it a month ago you def won’t need one

They do Pap smears every 3-4 months

Nope they only do one at your prenatal appointment if they have concerns or you’re due for one anyway. So you won’t get another one unless your first one turns up with concerns.
