Pineapple allergy??

My daughter is 18 almost 19 months ate pineapple for first time now has this. It’s spread to face arms and now tummy , is it safe for her to take Benadryl ?? Trying not to panic. She’s never been allergic to anything

Could be hives, but as for Benadryl under age 2, I'd give your pediatrician a call. If they aren't open, perhaps they have an after hours number or recommendation of after hour nurse/doctor that can give advice.

Benadryl should be fine. I had to give it to my daughter when she was 13 months and tried eggs for the first time.

Benadryl is fine. 
My sons pediatrician confirmed it for me and my son is now 18 months he was around 12 months when he was got the okay to use. 
Just make sure you get the right amount.

Since she’s under 2 I wouldn’t give her Benadryl.  Just keep an eye on it.  If it worsens or doesn’t improve take her to the doctor.
