Fussy & Gassy Babies?

My poor baby girl has been SCREAMING the past two nights because of gas.. during the day she is fine, it’s at night that gets to her.. she has been up for the past 4 hours straight screaming.. it’s now 3:11am and mama bear is soooo tired...
Are any of you experiencing this ? I’m switching her  formula tomorrow To see if it helps🤞🏽🤞🏽

Have you tried simethicone (gas drops), gripe water and probiotics? 
You don’t need all three. Usually one will help.

The same thing would happen to my baby boy and the dr switched him to sensitive. But gripe water, rubs in his back and sleeping on his tummy would help him soothe his colics.

My baby girl is the same although it hasn’t got as bad as screaming for hours (yet) she seems to have gas pains at night.  I spoke to the health visitor about it who said to try giving her Infacol and said it’s probably caused by the amount of milk she’s taking and how fast she feeds.  Probably a silly question cos I’m sure you’ve tried everything at this point lol but have you tried cycling her legs? It works with my baby girl - not all the time but it does seem to give a bit of relief.  I’ve been told to rub her belly but that doesn’t seem to help her at all, also a warm bath is supposed to help too but the past few nights I’ve put mine in the bath she screams 🤷🏽‍♀️😅

Gas drops are a life saver... also laying her on her back and moving her legs like she's riding a bike helps. The pediatrician recommended laying her on her belly (under supervision) when the pain gets bad

Try size 0 nipples. I also tried baby's magic tea and it seems to work too

My baby girl was fussy and gassy as well. We switched her formula to gerber good start soothe and we got Dr Brown bottles. They help with gas and colic and since doing that she’s the happiest baby ever now and doesn’t fuss because of gas anymore :)

How old is your baby?
My son started doing this around 1 month. We tried so many things to help. Finally had to put him on Soy formula, it was the only thing that he didn’t throw up completely and get awful gas from. We did put gas drops in each bottle and we were always stocked up on gripe water. 
After he turned 1 and we switched to whole milk he started having the same problems. Turns out he has a milk protein allergy. As weird as it is he’s also allergic to soy (but for some reason the formula was fine🤷🏼‍♀️) but we were in the same boat again and nothing touched his gas/pain. He was inconsolable until it passed. 
I’m not saying your child has allergies, but if the gas is that bad where your baby is in a lot of pain I wouldn’t rule it out. I believe they can be tested at a young age.

Yep! How old is your baby? My baby is breastfed and she has been crying/screaming a lot lately. She seems to have gas at times and other times she just seems to go from 0-60 instead of normal crying for almost no reason.  She just started doing this when she hit 5 weeks.
