March baby?

I’m due 9th March, just wondering what clothes and stuff baby needs for beginning of March? I live in the uk if that makes any difference 
Going home outfit obviously has to be a onesie/sleep suit? Does he needs a coat?

Its not safe to put them in a carseat with a big coat on maybe a thinner coat and then tuck him in with a blanket after he's buckled and i always thow one over the little umbrella too just to block the wind from knocking baby out of breathe

Don’t forget everyone, as long as you have working heaters in your car baby is only going to be exposed to the cold for a few seconds or a minute. Whoever is picking you up will have driven the car there so it won’t need all the time to get the heater going either. Just a warm onesie with a hat, and blanket tucked around for the walk from hospital to car, will be fine. Babies can easily over heat in a plastic car seat so you don’t want to bundle them up in too many layers, even if it is cold.

Just buy however the season will be  onesies. Long sleeves. And you can always put a blanket over their abdomen and chest once they're already buckled in the carseat. Also try a carseat canopy to help break the wind flow if it's going to be super cold.

My first was a July baby and I took him home in a sleepsuit with a light knitted blanket (10-11pm). This time I'm going to use a sleepsuit and a thicker blanket. They're not going to be out for long, because most (if not all) hospitals won't let you leave unless you're going by car.

I’m due end of March, but I live in Wisconsin and last year we had snow in April. I have a regular outfit (onesie, top, and pants). I will bring a 0-3 month fleece sleeper as a “light jacket” and depending on what the forecast looks like I will get a fleece jumpsuit. And we will use a blanket over him in the car seat.
I say, spring is finicky. Bring a couple options to the hospital, layers!!

I’m due same day and from U.K. I’ve just got a load of babygrows and some outfits like dresses with tights, but can always take the tights off and use socks if it’s warm. Anything you think would be suitable for spring weather really, but you can always put a cardigan or jacket over the top

I’m going for baby grow one of the thick and fluffy ones you can get, scratch mittens and possibly a blanket if needs be. I’m in the UK, first time mum and due the 9th of March too! Drop me a message anytime 😊

For going home in the car seat, I do onesie with a sleeper on top, toque and scratch mitts. Blanket on top of baby. I have a cover over my car seat as well. I live in Canada and it can be cold.

I’m going off what the weather was like last March and I had snow down in the south west. So I’ve packed blankets hat mits warm suit then once in the car shall take it off. But I would rather over pack than not have enough 🙂 x
