What soap do you use to wash Pacifiers?

First time mom here just trying to figure out how to do this. What soap do you use to wash your pacifiers before you sanitize them? I was going to use just dawn dish soap but then I read it will leave a film on them. I’m not sure what to do. I’m washing them and then boiling them after. Thanks!!

I didn't use soap, I just had boiled water. Put the pacifiers, parts for breast pump, bottles and nipples in the pot for a few. That was it. You can even purchase a sanitizer for bottles and pacifiers if you like. But boiled water worked great.

My daughter doesn’t use pacifiers but I wash nipple shields and bottles (if I decide to pump so dad can feed her) with seventh generation and a silicone brush, then sanitize in near boiling water for a minute. It’s how they taught me to do it at the hospital to prevent thrush so I continued doing it that way.

Idk how it would leave a film. When I needed to wash them I used a little dish soap or I would throw them in the dishwasher.

I’ve always used regular dish soap for pacis and bottles.

I just bought a little thing to put bottle nipples and pacifiers in the dishwasher to clean them. That’s how I cleaned them per suggestions of other moms.
