When did people start asking you if you were pregnant/having a baby?

I’ve been married for a year and 4 months. The baby talk didn’t occur until last month so this is our first month TTC. However, I’ve gotten the “are you pregnant yet?” from co-workers, grandma, stepmom and friends starting right after I got married. But I noticed that once we hit the 1 year mark, the question comes up frequently more than it did last year. The last person that I expected to ask was my grandma and it completely threw me off. And I just recently learned that she has cancer, so one of the reasons why baby talk started was because I wanted my grandparents to live to meet their great grandkids.. and I just learned that my dad has been talking about grandkids (I didn’t know until I told my stepmom that we are starting to try.. and she told me that my dad has been talking about grandkids..) so a lot of mixed emotions. What were your reasons to start TTC at the time that you did? Curious :)
